Since the hydraulic fluid is almost incompressible, after being introduced into the nut, it will flow into the area behind the piston, allowing it to be pushed out. This pressure is used in many different mounting and dismounting methods of tapered bore bearings. The aperture of the applicable hydraulic nut is about 50mm and above.

Working principle of the hydraulic nuts
The working principle of the hydraulic nut is to use ultra-high pressure oil to generate a thrust on the shaft and tension on the sleeve so that the shaft and the sleeve are evenly connected.

There are several ways to install bearings with hydraulic nuts. Both the set sleeve and the release sleeve can be used. Larger hydraulic setting sleeves and removal sleeves (approximately size 26 and up) may also have conduits to reduce friction when mounting bearings on larger equipment. Note that the hydraulic system is in good condition, and there can be no leakage.
