- Before screwing in, apply sufficient oil to the tap for lubrication.
- Each rotation is to push half a circle, and then rotate back one circle.
- One more turn to the left and right. The main purpose of this is to make the new thread groove that has been opened up smoother. This is also not easy to make the tap head hot.
When rotating the tap, it is necessary to follow the method of “twist half a circle, withdraw a circle, and make a circle left and right”, and it cannot be rotated inward by brute force.
Note: When selecting the tap, we must choose the same model as the new bolt thread. If the screw type is different, you spend a lot of effort, the bolt still can not be screwed in.
Step 4: Clean the threaded holes thoroughly
The tap should be all screwed in until there is no resistance to screw in and out. Due to the large number of iron filings generated during the whole process, it is necessary to use a cleaning agent to clean the threaded holes.
Step 5: Don’t forget to add washers!
In order to avoid oil leakage in the new bolt, a copper or plastic gasket should be matched when installing the new bolt as a seal.
