• If the surface of the mother plate into which the bolt or screw is screwed is not smooth and flat, the head of the fastener is likely to get stuck. By using washers, the surface of the bolt or screw can be guaranteed to slide and the installation is made easier.
• Some washers are specially designed to prevent the nut from loosening. We commonly call this type of washer a lock washer. In terms of structure, there are many types of them, such as open mouth, star and wavy, and so on. This type of lock washer should be used in conjunction with the nut.
