Drilling screws are suitable for connecting and fixing thinner plates, such as the connection of colored steel plates with colored steel plates, colored steel plates with steel purlins, wall beams, etc. Its penetration capacity usually does not exceed 6mm, and the maximum does not exceed 12mm. Self-tapping screws and self-drilling screws are essentially the same type of screws, both of which can be tightened without tapping and the use of nuts. The difference between them depends on the application environment, for harder materials, screws are more difficult to penetrate, so the tip shape of the drill screw is more similar to the twist drill, which is easier to penetrate the harder material. For soft materials, self-tapping screws are more commonly used.
