In case of vibration, the fastening nut will rotate in the direction of loosening, and the deep end of the groove will exert a force on the dowel pin, causing the limit nut to rotate in the same direction. The limit nut is squeezed in the tightening direction so that the fastening nut rotates in the tightening direction and self-locks.

Compared with the common double nut fastening, this method can realize the mutual locking function of the forward nut and the reverse nut, so as to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical fasteners in the vibration environment.
